Peanut Sauce (YUM!)

This sauce takes all kinds of things to the next level…

Have you or any one you know ever said…

  • “I don’t like vegetables”

  • “I don’t like salad”

Well - here is one pathway to LOVING them!

I have come to use this peanut sauce for not just stir frys and Asian dishes but also as an everyday dressing on Salad. A couple thoughts

  • Thin it down a bit more for a salad dressing with adding water to the consistency that you would like. The flavor is not compromised at all by doing this. In fact the thinner texture enhances the dressing.

  • You can use sunflower seed butter as a substitute for peanut butter if you are allergic and /or you would simply like to use sunflowers because you don’t want to use peanuts.

  • Best to use an organic natural peanut butter that only contains peanuts.

Here is the recipe!

Mix all the following ingredients in a bowl then store in a mason jar in the fridge for as long as it lasts…which won’t be very long!

1 c peanut butter

Squeeze the juice of one lime

1/4 c maple syrup

3 T Soy sauce

1-2 T Hot sauce

Cayenne pepper to taste (optional)

Add water to create the consistency you would like. I recommend a little more runny for salad dressing to coat the salad in a balanced way. Enjoy!!
